Harrison Clarke have partnered with a leading FinTech company in the heart of San Francisco who are innovating in the online payment space. The company recently closed a Series C round backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel Partners. They are urgently hiring for a DevOps Engineer to join the business to help drive and scale the culture of collaboration within the group whilst utilizing leading edge technology such as Python, Jenkins, Puppet and Nginx.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for collaboratively building upon the company’s cutting-edge infrastructure platform. The DevOps Engineer will have direct input into how the company scales, secures, and monitors the systems and services throughout the entire organization.

The DevOps Engineer will be required to have the following skills:

  • Python scripting (must demonstrate the ability to write thousands of lines of code)
  • Very strong CI/CD experience specifically in Jenkins
  • Configuration Management tools: Puppet (ideally) or similar (Chef, Ansible or SaltStack)
  • AWS experience is a must
  • Containerization experience: Docker or Kubernetes

The DevOps Engineer will be part of an exciting cloud technology team and will have fully autonomy from a technical, engineering perspective as the DevOps Engineer will be ensuring that upcoming projects or product leases are in line with the DevOps methodology. The DevOps Engineer will be working closely with the product team and the software development team and on-call work will be spread across the engineering department ensuring there is a natural work/life balance for all employees.

Package: $150,000 – $170,000 + Stock Options + Sign on bonus + Exceptional Benefits)
